5SOS have just released their third single of the year, titled, “Me, Myself and I”.
The new track was released today alongside the tracklist for their fifth studio album which is titled “5SOS5”. The new album comes out the 23rd September which leaves 5SOS’ dedicated fanbase with a 4 month long wait.
The new song, which the band have been teasing on social media for the last week, perfectly fits with what we’ve seen of the new album so far. Their other recent releases “Complete Mess” and “Take My Hand” have carried a lot of electric undertones and the aesthetic of a new age which the new song fully encapsulates.
“Me, Myself and I” blends well with their more mature view of learning from past mistakes, which compliments the undertone for their last album, “CALM”. Overall, the new song’s catchy beat, mixed with primarily front-man Luke’s melodic vocals, makes it the perfect chilled summer song.
You can now catch the band getting ready to set off on the second leg of their “Take My Hand Tour” in Vancouver next month, which was renamed after it was rescheduled in 2020.
“Me, Myself and I” is OUT NOW on Spotify and Apple Music.
